Description

For this shot, I captured 30 sec. subs x 18 under Bortle 1 skies in New Mexico with no filter on Jan. 22, 2023 at approximately 5:40-5:50 a.m. MST (12:40-12:50 p.m. UTC), stacked star-aligned and comet-aligned versions, and thanks to the magic of SXT, created star-only and comet-only versions from each one, respectively, and then blended the star-aligned star-only image with the comet-aligned comet-only image.  I'm sure others find this to be an easy task, but for me, I found this to be much more challenging than processing standard DSOs!
